Food recall in 18 states: E. coli death linked to bagged carrots
An outbreak of E. coli linked to consuming bagged carrots has resulted in dozens of illnesses, hospitalizations and one death. The Food and Drug Administration issued a recall on 15 brands of bagged carrots sold across 18 states and various markets — including Wegmans, Trader Joe’s and more after the outbreak.

Brands of the recalled carrots include Bunny Luv, Trader Joe's, Wegmans and more. The recall was initiated by Grimmway Farms. So far, there have been 39 illnesses, 15 hospitalizations and one death associated with the outbreak. Cases have been reported in 18 states.
