‘Star Wars’: Lucasfilm Has Pulled Rey Film From December 2026 Release Date
According to Disney, the untitled “Star Wars” film that was set for December 18, 2026 has been taken off the schedule. The general consensus is that this film would have been the Rey movie directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. That only leaves “ The Mandalorian and Grogu ” for 2026 and the next “Star Wars” film after that would be December 2027.
