This November's full moon is a supermoon, meaning it's closer to Earth in its orbit and appears larger and brighter than usual, according to NASA. The beaver moon will be the fourth and final supermoon in this series.

November's full moon, known as the Beaver Moon, will peak tomorrow and is the fourth and final time stargazers will be able to see a supermoon in 2024. Like October's full moon, the Beaver Moon won't be at full peak at night, but there will be plenty of moonlight to be seen heading into the weekend.

Sky watchers will get a special treat this week as the final supermoon of 2024 lights up the November sky. The November full moon — nicknamed the “ beaver moon ” — will reach its peak at 4:28 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, and will be slightly bigger and brighter than an average full moon. That‘s why it’s considered a supermoon.
