Typhoon Pepito (international name: Man-yi) has further weakened as it exited the Luzon landmass and traversed near the coast of La Union and Pangasinan on Sunday night, according to the state weather bureau.

Some Luzon areas are at “moderate” to “high risk” of storm surge within the next 48 hours even as Typhoon Pepito (international name: Man-yi) leaves the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR), the state weather bureau warned early Monday morning.
